Hello, I am unable to login to my desktop (snv_99). The error that I see is,
/tmp/dbus.XXXXX not found: no such file or directory This only happens when I am trying to login with my LDAP username (I am quite certain that the network configuration on my machine is correct). With local users, the login is successful. This happens for both cde-login and gdm. I looked into <ldapuser-home>/.dbus/session/XXXXX file, and it seems to have populated with the DBUS_SESSION variables. but the filenames for the pipe in /tmp directory do NOT match. This could be one of the reasons, I believe. I am unable to proceed further with my investigation. any thoughts/comments ? Is this a known problem ?? cheers Mayuresh
