I'm using lp with a SUNWfoomatic(S): e-STUDIO3510c Series driver and have the same issue. Using: lp -o sides=two-sided-long-edge -o media=a4 ...seems to work for me and most apps I use allow me to specify the actual command to do the printing. DSL
