Wall Street banking is a high-profile market that Sun has been in for
many years. In this case Solaris is used as an enterprise desktop
rather than only a server backend. I think that it is wise to listen
to such users and make it very easy to obtain something which works
similar to what they had before with maximum reliability. Without
providing for a smooth transition, this precious customer base could
be lost to Microsoft Windows or some other OS provider. Solaris is an
enterprise OS and the desktop should be able to satisfy enterprise
users as well.

Enterprise users are typically more interested in stability
and configurability, and less interested in features.
