Hi all,

Each time I install a Gnome desktop application, such as
'transmission', 'terminator' etc, there will sometimes be a core dump
of gnome-panel when I try to find it in the menu. It seems the desktop
cannot handle well the update of menu items. Is there some method to
  avoid such core dumps?

I can use "ulimit -c 0" in my bash environment to avoid core dumps.
And some suggest I use command 'coreadm' to manage core dumps. Anyway,
if application installation could handle well the menu item update, it
would be very nice. On other platforms with Gnome, I seldom experience
  such problems.

  Thanks for your attention.
