Hey, I found this gem in the forums written about a year ago: http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=15444&highlight=solaris Scroll to the bottom and you'll see a reply re: building on Solaris (LDOPTIONS, configure options, etc.) Looks like an expert! ;-) Eric
