Yes, actually, I will. I have quite a bit of personal experience with
developing with Gtk and cannot recall ever finding a "huge memory
leak" in it or having a memory usage problem specifically because of
it. I also know for certain that gnome-terminal has several design
flaws that increase its memory usage rather needlessly.

Unless you are a developer that uses Gtk personally, I don't think you
really know enough to claim the bug is in Gtk. I think that the number
of applications found at http://gnomefiles.org/ belie any claim that
Gtk is somehow in general faulty.
