Hello, I'm trying to port xfce4-cddrive-plugin. It fails on too old version of hal-storage. Here are few lines from pkgbuild log:
pkgbuild: checking for hal-storage >= 0.5.8.1... found, but pkgbuild: *** The required package hal-storage was found on your system, pkgbuild: *** but the installed version () is too old. pkgbuild: *** Please upgrade hal-storage to atleast version 0.5.8.1, or adjust pkgbuild: *** the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed pkgbuild: *** the new version of the package in a nonstandard prefix so pkgbuild: *** pkg-config is able to find it. But when I run: $pkg-config --version hal-storage It returns "0.21", which looks like totally different version number which confuse me. I'm running 65b with vermilion 67. Is it better in more latest builds? Is there another version numbering in opensolaris branded hal? Or do I check version of hal-storage correctly? Any ideas are welcome, Petr
