Long story short: 1. HAL causes a MCE on my box. So i disable it 2. gnome-volume-manager crashes now when gnome tries to start up. I end up with an unusable gnome session.
So, how do I get gnome to startup, without HAL? Thanks in advance! :) -- Regards, Jeremy
