generally speaking, people are doing the opposite, i.e. removing all the 
JDS related packages
if you don't want to reinstall, take the iso of solaris, and prepare a 
long time to install manually all packages containing Gnome:
for instance:
nemo-root% pkginfo -c GNOME2|more
...
GNOME2      SUNWgnome-display-mgr            GNOME Display Manager
GNOME2      SUNWgnome-display-mgr-root       GNOME Display Manager - 
platform de
pendent files, / filesystem
GNOME2      SUNWgnome-display-mgr-share      GNOME Display Manager - 
platform in
dependent files, /usr/share
...
nemo-root% pkginfo -c GNOME2 | wc -l
      232

I don't know if dependancies are taken into account (take a look at 
prodreg, if it works yet?)
