Hi, just updated OpenSolaris to snv_117 and the mouse problem is getting worse:
Now I can use the mouse only from time to time .... In the time between the mouse does not work at all except that I can move the mouse pointer but I can't select a window with the left mouse button or open an context menu with the right mouse button! If the mouse is working I can sometimes select a window by clicking anyway inside the window but most of the time I still must click on the menu bar to activate the window! Ah, and sometimes moveing the mouse selects all text under the mouse pointer .... THAT IS VERY ANOYING ! How can I fix this issue ? Or at least what to do to find the reason for this f* behaviour? regards Bernd Bernd Schemmer wrote: > Hi again > > >>create a new user account, with an empty home dir. > >>if that account works ok then the problem would be in your gnome > settings (dot files). > > That works -- but only until the next reboot.
