I have a fresh install of snv_117 on an AMD box with the ATI chipset. Audio
does
play nicely with `audiotest -5', so I know that's working. When I insert an
audio CD
in the DVD drive, Rhythmbox shows all of the tracks on the CD correctly.
However,
when I try to play a track, a red stopsign appears next to the track, and I get
no
sound.

Running it in a terminal window, I do see these errors when I press [Play]:

$ rhythmbox &
[1]     3522
$
(rhythmbox:3522): RhythmDB-CRITICAL **: file rhythmdb.c: line 5132: assertion
`entry != NULL' failed

(rhythmbox:3522): RhythmDB-CRITICAL **: file rhythmdb.c: line 4918: assertion
`entry != NULL' failed

(rhythmbox:3522): RhythmDB-CRITICAL **: file rhythmdb.c: line 1685: assertion
`entry != NULL' failed

What's wrong? Is there another player I can try?
