Sorry, what I said about the long description isn't correct. Currently only the metadata fields "name" and "description" are supported. While you can put quite a bit of text into the description, that's probably not a good thing to do. Nevertheless, many new tags and attributes are coming soon. Keep an eye on pkg-discuss.
