Hi Richard, did you manage to build inkscape? I am trying myself copying the steps you posted above. $/opt/dtbld/bin/env.sh $svn up https://pkgbuild.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pkgbuild/spec-files-extra/trunk SFE bash-3.2$ svn up https://pkgbuild.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pkgbuild/spec-files-extra/trunk SFE Skipped 'https://pkgbuild.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pkgbuild/spec-files-extra/trunk' At revision 1668.
I checked out SFE in an arbitrary directory. I do not know if this is correct or whether it should go somewhere specific. $pkginfo -c SFE does not return anything, don't know if this is correct I then run $pkgtool build --download SFEinkscape.spec --autodeps in my SFE directory and the output is: INFO: Installing SFEsigcpp-gpp INFO: Installing SFEsigcpp-gpp-devel WARNING: skipping package SFEglibmm-gpp: required package SUNWsigcpp-devel not installed WARNING: and no spec file specified on the command line provides it INFO: No spec file for SUNWsigcpp-devel found. INFO: Try specifying additional spec file directories INFO: using the --specdirs option .... and all consquent packages cannot be build. I know this is probably a trivial question but where can I find a spec file for SUNWsigcpp-devel? I have also downloaded the following spec files: $ svn co svn+ssh://anon at svn.opensolaris.org/svn/jds/spec-files/branches/gnome-2-24 spec-files-2-24 but this contains only SUNWsigcpp spec file. Thanks for bringing me one step closer to Inkscape, Alex On Sun, Jan 18, 2009 at 11:34 PM, Laszlo (Laca) Peter <Laszlo.Peter at sun.com> wrote: > > On Sat, 2009-01-17 at 08:50 -0800, Richard PALO wrote: >> In trying to get SFEinkscape built on snv_103, there are problems with >> <at least> two package dependencies: SFEglibmm-gpp and SFEpoppler-gpp > > Looks like the glibmm spec file in SFE is old, should be updated to > match the one in the gnome-2-24 branch of the JDS spec-files. > Any volunteers? > >> The SUNW* packages indicated in the base note are installed, and >> SFEswig is no longer found but SUNWswig is already installed (OK?). > > Yes, that should be fine. > > Laca > > _______________________________________________ > desktop-discuss mailing list > desktop-discuss at opensolaris.org > -- Skype: al.gnodtke Google talk: gnodtke
