Hi Desktop Community Leaders, I'm here to request core contributor grant for OpenSolaris Desktop community. I am working in the quality area for desktop, currently I am working with other QEs to build the OpenSolaris Desktop Testing Community[1] which is a sub community under OpenSolaris Desktop community. We are using desktop-testing at opensolaris.org mail list for discussion, so less voice in desktop-discuss at opensolaris.org.
I've been involved with Mozilla, GNOME and OpenSolaris desktop community in a number of areas, which recently include : -Create test cases, make test plan, test execution and file bugs for Firefox, Thunderbird, Lightning, Pidgin, Compiz and Compiz-by-default on OpenSolaris Platform -Develop automation test suite for Firefox using Dogtail and LDTP on OpenSolaris -Investigate and set up remote desktop environment on Test Farm based on Xvnc service (Test Farm can only be accessed through command line before), finish performance report of Multiple Users Access to Remote Desktop on Test Farm -Design the layout of OpenSolaris Desktop Testing community website, using the IRC: #opensolaris-desktop-testing @ irc.freenode.net for testing related discussion -Evaluate the test management tool for OpenSolaris Desktop community, select Testopia out of Aptest, Litmus and Testlink.
