Hi Desktop Community Leaders,


I am here to apply for core contributor of OpenSolaris desktop community.

My contribution: *
Ensure the quality of OpenSource Applications before and after it is 
integrated into OpenSolaris.

1) Develop test plan and test case for OpenSource Applications in 
OpenSolaris 2008.11 and 2009.06

2) Lead QE team to do pre-integration testing for OpenSource 
Applications targeting OpenSolaris 2008.11 and 2009.06

  For 2008.11 release, below 30 projects were tested and integrated:
    * contact-lookup-applet    * gimp-hdr    * gqview    * libtasn1    * 
o3read    * python-notify      * tsclient    * xchat    * 
xsane-sanity    * avant-window-navigator    * bluefis    * dialog    * 
dmz-cursor-theme    * goffice    * gtkspell    * songbird    * 
terminator    * transmission    *findutils    * graphviz    * irssi    * 
ncurses-bin    * groff-base    * gnome-commander    * openproj    * 
cheese    * gnome-nettool    * brasero    * gobby    * slocate

  For 2009.06 release, testing is ongoing, below 16 projects were tested:
    * Gkrellm    * Hamster    * Dia    * Vinagre&gtk-vnc    * Gtk-vnc    
* Seahorse    * Ekiga3.0    * Mousetweaks    * Elisa and its 
dependency    * Gftp    * Codeina and its dependency    * Clutter    * 
Libical    * Libvisual    * Diveintopython    * Lynx

3) File 127 bugs about above testing. Trace the bugs after integration.


*What should I improve in future:
*1) Be more active in community discussion

2) Update more QE testing status on external testing webpage - 
http://opensolaris.org/os/community/desktop/testing/
