(on nv108, and never did before) When I plug a PTP camera (Canon Powershot A460/470), it is recognized as such, I can go through to the subfolder with the data/movies. But then gtkam starts flashing normal/gray/normal/gray... etc. Some thumbnails even are visible, the larger part not. All menu items take several seconds to appear/become active; and in the end it says that 'There is nothing to be stored'. There is no hardware problem, everything works well as soon as I reboot the same machine to Ubuntu.
Is this a known defect? Any workaround available? Uwe -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
