I'd like to figure out how to better focus the desktop FAQ and troubleshooting guide. The JDS Nevada FAQ is currently published as a twiki here:
http://www.genunix.org/wiki/index.php/Desktop_FAQ_for_Solaris_Nevada_%28JDS%29 Using a twiki makes it easier for community contributions, but I think there is still room for improvement. Ideally this shouldn't be a flat document, but some sort of database which would easily accept new entries from the community. Also, each entry in the troubleshooting guide should be tagged with which releases and sw/hw configurations the entry applies to. That way when a user has a problem, they would specify their environment and get a targeted troubleshooting guide. [X] OpenSolaris 2008.05 Opensolaris Nevada build (none or 1-100) [] [ ] Solaris 10 [X] SRSS [N/A] Sparc [X] X86 [X] Gnome [] KDE [] XFCE Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to implement this and deploy it on opensolaris.org?
