Sorry. I should have included that. The sunblade 100 is running solaris 10
08/07, and it is
reasonably up to date on patches.
##> uname -a

cat /etc/release

I have tried several versions of firefox, 2.0.0.4 that came with the system,
2.0.0.8 from blastwave
and the latest contributed build 2.0.0.14 from the mozilla site in pkg format.
This installed in /opt.
#> /opt/sfw/bin/firefox -v
Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.14, Copyright (c) 1998 - 2008 mozilla.org
I did just discover something though while at home. The first time I ran
/opt/sfw/bin/firefox -v I got the same error
ld.so.1: firefox-bin: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/ucblib/libucb.so.1:
symbol _siguhandler: referenced symbol not found
Killed
When I unset LD_LIBRARY_PATH, I found that the command worked. I'll have to
wait until I get into the office tomorrow to try this to see if this makes a
difference.
Thanks for the replies so far.
