Adriaan de Groot maintains the flagship 'dillon' 8-cpu AMD64 Sun X4600 server for the KDE for Solaris project using Sun Studio 12. Anyone can contact him with ssh keys and he'll take care of the setup. This is really the best solution for most KDE builds on Solaris as 'most' of the leaders/developers/engineers involved on the project are around to answer questions. Also, the KDE build environemnt, FOSS tools/libs, and CVSDude system are maintained through the kde-discuss group. Minimal OS to use for official testing: 1. S10U4 + Studio 12 fully patched + GNU sed/awk/make + a recent version of the auto* tools. Latest KDE stable sources: v4.0.2 (and v3.5.9) ~ Ken Mays This message posted from opensolaris.org
