Sorry - it's well hidden - just checked on a machine running b79b (SXDE 1/08),
and under Appearance, choose the Theme tab, then click Customize, and then the
Pointer tab, and then choose something other than Default Pointer for the Size
options to become selectable. I don't know why the GNOME people thought this
was such a dangerous option to hide it this deep so no mortal user could find
it.
