I've been playing with Yahoo pipes a bit, and have a JSON to list and display the Desktop Community contributors & core contributors. Example here... http://opensolaris.org/os/project/nightingale/desktopgrants/
I think a more appropriate place for it is on the Desktop Community front page (or a page off the Desktop Community area).
