Binary downloads for JDS Vermillion build 83 are now available from:
http://dlc.sun.com/osol/jds/downloads/current/

This build requires snv_79b (SXDE 1/08) or greater.
snv_79b = SXDE 1/08 = http://developers.sun.com/sxde/

This build is based on GNOME 2.21.90 (2.22.0 Beta 1).

Installation Instructions
=========================
1) As root, disable the postrun, dbus, hal and avahi services to avoid 
install-time
error messages:
# svcadm disable svc:/system/postrun:default
# svcadm disable svc:/system/dbus:default
# svcadm disable svc:/system/hal:default
# svcadm disable svc:/system/avahi-bridge-dsd:default

2) ./install-jds --force --ignore

3) Restart the services
# svcadm enable svc:/system/postrun:default
# svcadm enable svc:/system/dbus:default
# svcadm enable svc:/system/hal:default
# svcadm enable svc:/system/avahi-bridge-dsd:default

NOTES:
- Firefox 3.0 Beta 2 and Firefox 2.0.0.11 are in the build. Firefox 3 is the 
default browser.
