By default, the out of the box security setup has disabled remote network access to the local printer. Alas, the print manager application doesn't know this.
You can enable it by hand by using the command: svcadm enable svc:/application/print/rfc1179:default This is actually documented in the print management docs for Solaris 10, but it is still annoying that the tool hasn't caught up to the change. -- richard This message posted from opensolaris.org
