I looked through the firefox build options today .
( configure --help in the source directory )
there seems to be several dozens of options here .
I just wanted to raise the question if a nonstandard build would be
better if running
firefox on a Sun Ray terminal .
These are options we use now ( according to about:buildconfig )
--enable-application=browser --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib
--mandir=/usr/share/man --enable-xft --enable-default-toolkit=gtk2 --enable-svg
--enable-canvas --disable-static --enable-shared --enable-official-branding
--enable-xinerama --disable-updater --disable-tests --disable-freetype2
--disable-auto-deps --disable-debug --enable-extensions=default,apoc
Solaris has its own implementations of Zlib , PNG, JPG and NSPR that is
not
used in the firefox build , is it known that the ones included in firefox
source tree
is better ?
As the APOC source is not included in the mozilla/firefox tar ball,
how do I set up the APOC source code from freedesktop.org to compile
with : --enable-extensions=default,apoc
