Since OpenSolaris has GStreamer, that shouldn't be an issue. YouTube uses the same Mozilla flash plugin that installs for Firefox/Mozilla, so that should work fine.
Most plugins that work in 0.3.1 should work pretty smoothly for 0.4pre. The major things that have changed are: * display panes (shouldn't affect existing add-ons, but it'd be nice for add-ons to start using them) * the correction of "property name" -> "property ID" caused some add-ons (like Now Playing) to break. i've been seeing some of these pop up and pointing developers as to what to do to fix it (not hard) > So on my end, seems like we can just bring over SongBird with what we have > today and add the plugins (there are a lot of plugins) as we progress. > Albert: Can we get your patches/diffs checked into the repo?
