Bernd:

Sound Juicer and Rhythmbox depend on HAL to work, which is not yet 
integrated into Solaris.  Unfortunately, you'll have to wait until
then before these programs will be fully functional.

The problem is that nautilus-cd-burner, rhythmbox and totem all
have non-HAL fallback code which currently only works on Linux.
Someone would have to port this code to work with Solaris to make
it work without HAL.  Probably easier to wait for HAL.
