I can read the screen in 1024x768 or higher resolution but my mom feels it's hard to read even in 640x480. So what's the "best fit"? :-)
Another problem is that seems there's no GUI to change date/time. I seldom change the time so can't remember the format and every time I have to run "man date" at first. It's not necessary to be in the desktop context menu but should be somewhere else that is easy to be found. My 2 cents. - Calvin Glynn Foster wrote: >On Tue, 2006-04-25 at 10:29 +0100, John Rice wrote: > > >>+1 - Would like the "Change Desktop Resolution" available as context >>menu item as it is very handy for laptop users, but would like it to >>work :) Not currently working on nevada 36, vermillion_09 Acer Ferrari 3400. >> >> > >Indeed, if it 'Just worked', then you arguably wouldn't need that dialog >for 99% of the uses.
