Thanks Brian.
I've also been playing with OpenSolaris Indiana (b117) and am trying to find
out if gnome is available from a non-global zone. I haven't found anything
pointing one way or the other and am trying it out.
I have gdm installed as a service in zone 'sun' and get:
root at sun:/lib/svc# svcs -xv
svc:/application/graphical-login/gdm:default (GNOME Display Manager)
State: offline since Fri Jul 03 21:20:44 2009
Reason: Dependency svc:/system/hal is absent.
See: http://sun.com/msg/SMF-8000-E2
See: man -M /usr/share/man -s 1 gdm
Impact: This service is not running.
root at sun:/lib/svc#
If I 'adjust' the script in /lib/svc/method/svc-gdm, am I likely to get it
working (so far not)?
Cheers, JP
