You can set "javascript.options.jit.content" to false in about:config for a workaround. Can you send me the url to reproduce the issue? It doesn't crash. It is Java 1.5.0_17-b04 on my box. Can you give an url to reproduce the issue? Or can you give me the "pstack core" result? After doing this the java sites I access work fine but when I try to load an html website firefox crashes. If I take the link out then the html site loads up fine. Also if I start firefox in safe mode the html site loads up fine even with the link for the plugin present. I have tried blowing away my .mozilla directory and disabling all extensions and add ons but see the same behavior. I see the same behavior on 2 separate Solaris 10 boxes. I have also tried pointing to JDK 5 and JDK 6 java plugins without success. Any ideas what could be causing this and how to work around it if possible?
