It seems it's another bug in the new JS engine.
You can set "javascript.options.jit.content" to false in about:config for a
workaround.
Can you send me the url to reproduce the issue?

Thanks,

Ginn

Subject: Re: [desktop-discuss] Firefox 35 crash on Solaris 10

Hi Chris,

I tried to use java plugin with Firefox 3.5 on S10 SPARC.
It doesn't crash.
It is Java 1.5.0_17-b04 on my box.

Can you give an url to reproduce the issue?
Or can you give me the "pstack core" result?

Thanks,

Ginn

I've installed firefox-3.5.en-US.solaris-10-fcs-sparc.tar.bz2 on my Solaris 10
machine and it works fine until I add the link for the java plugin.
After doing this the java sites I access work fine but when I try to load an
html website firefox crashes. If I take the link out then the html site loads
up fine.
Also if I start firefox in safe mode the html site loads up fine even with the
link for the plugin present. I have tried blowing away my .mozilla directory
and disabling all extensions and add ons but see the same behavior.
I see the same behavior on 2 separate Solaris 10 boxes. I have also tried
pointing to JDK 5 and JDK 6 java plugins without success.
Any ideas what could be causing this and how to work around it if possible?

Thanks
Chris
