I have created a simple desktop tutorial to help a new user set up their system
to use OpenSolaris as their main desktop OS. It is very rough right now.

You can see that I put the ODT file here and I have put up the same content on
the Genuinix wiki in the How to and Guides area under Desktop General.

I am very enthusiastic about OpenSolaris as a Desktop OS and I would like to
see more done with it in this area. If you think my tutorial is worth wild
please help me with it. It is my hope to include pictures for easier
navigation, list the IPS packages in the repositories that are good for desktop
users and which they do not need. I also wish to point out important places on
the internet to get other packages that would be helpful such as
ips.homeunix.com and Sun Free Packs.
