Because an on-disk package format doesn't exist for IPS packages yet, so they can only provide SVR4 or tarball from an ftp site. However, they could always provide an ips repository with the contributed builds, but my guess is that particular team is focused on Solaris 10 and SXCE users. Cheers, -- Shawn Walker
