Greetings, I've noticed that in later builds, "fast reboot" started working. The first time I noticed it was quite by accident when I had sworn I hit the "Restart" button on the shutdown dialog only to discover my system had not actually restarted.
While I know fast reboot is useful for folks that only have OpenSolaris on their system, I'm somewhat annoyed that clicking "Restart" does not actually *restart* my system for these reasons: * I may need to reset some misbehaving hardware and so need an actual system restart * I want to get back to my GRUB menu so I can select a different boot environment, OS, etc. Can the Restart button be fixed to actually trigger a restart again and a "Fast Reboot" or some similar button be added to the shutdown dialog? I looked around for a bug for this, but didn't find one. Cheers, -- Shawn Walker
