OpenSolaris build 118, stock firefox: I have a single tab in firefox with a static web page. Firefox is using up 5% of my CPU somehow. Over time, the CPU usage creeps up util the system is mostly unusable and I need to restart firefox, and the cycle starts over. It looks like it's in a tight loop where the main thread is issuing FIONREAD, but I haven't spent much time trying to figure out what it's actually doing.
It also looks like Xorg is similarly using up CPU cycles, presumably as a side-effect of whatever firefox is trying to do, but I don't know for sure. Has anyone observed anything similar? Is this a known problem? -Seb
