Hi Hugo, You could check out the jds build source: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/jds/contributing/building/#jds-build-sources. The firefox.spec and firefox3.spec will tell you how the pc files are created. Basically the pc files come from a template (*.pc.in) and some path information will be replaced at install time as I understand.
Hope this help, -Alfred Hugo Garcia wrote: > Hi > > Anybody know of some resource that explains how to create .pc files? > >>>> The main wiki for pkg-config links to nothing. >>>> > > I am compiling Firefox 3 and would like to add the .pc info so tthat > I can compile another prorgram against xulrunner. > > How did the .pc files for FF2 on Solaris get created? > > I intend that instance of Firefox locally and update my environment > path to force pkg-info to find the locally built FF3. > > thanks > _______________________________________________ > desktop-discuss mailing list > desktop-discuss at opensolaris.org >
