The mplayer SFE build has been broken for me as well (I started a thread on this earlier this month). The issue that I see is that as more and more FOSS gets added to OpenSolaris, SFE equivalent packages fail to install due to conflicting files. The spec files aren't designed to automatically detect that dependencies are already met through other, bundled packages, and the spec files aren't being updated quickly enough to reflect the contents of OpenSolaris from build-to-build. I've had to manually modify spec files in order to reflect the packages present on a given OpenSolaris build. -Seb
