Hey, I have a intel gma x3100 graphics card and I cannot get compiz up and running. The option to enable it is there under system -> appearance. Once I enable it though the shadows (such as under the top bar and over the bottom bar) are white instead of black and about 3 or 4 seconds into it the system freezes up. This laptop has 2gig of ram and a dual core processor (1.46 GHz).
