I am surprised. I am running BeleniX 0.7.1 which is B93 and Firefox 3.0.1.
I am more than happy. It runs without crashing with or without Flash and
is well and truly fast. I built Firefox 3.0.1 out of slightly
modified SPECs from
the JDS repository. The modifications deal only with default font
and branding.
The only difference of significance I can see between OpenSolaris 2008.xx
and BeleniX 0.7.1 is that Belenix is still using GNOME 2.20 libs while the
former has moved onto 2.22. Dunno whether that might have any bearing in
   this case.

Moinak.
