The problem may reside into the equipment!. The main system if a Linux
system
(Fedora 9) with Sun VirtualBox 1.6.4 (a virtual machine). Solaris 5.11
svn_70b
is running within VirtualBox and has 896 MB RAM. The network
connection is done
via a tap device on the Linux sidem the size of the virtual disk is 8 GB.
The Linux machine has a dual 2 core processor and 2 GB of memory so that
there
enough memory.

If I run a Linux machine within VirtualBox, there are no problems while
copying
the big file.
