DISCLAIMER: I think it's horrid behaviour too. It's not a bug if it's working as designed (even if that design is horrid). The blog post is confusing since it claims that "Bring the user to the window, always. (This is what we do now.)". This would imply that the window is not moved to a different workspace -- the user is. However, if you look at their list of options, one of them appears to be to let the application tell it what to do. I shudder at the thought of the application telling the window manager where it belongs. -- Shawn Walker
