I have found the sources below of how to generate Modeline information. http://gtf.sourceforge.net/ http://xtiming.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/xtiming.pl The two programs/methods does not generate the same numbers . I am at the moment experimenting with producing a Modeline for the Samsung 305T 30 " LCD monitor. which according to its datasheet has resolution 2560x1600 Href 98.7 Khz Vref 60 Hz Pixelclock 268.5 Mhz However the two Mode line programs above either needs to rais the pixelclock to 425 Mhz or lower the Href to 73 Kh and the Vref to 43 Hz. So something is not right here Is there a method for Modeline generation for Solaris thats better than the ones above ? Regards //Lars This message posted from opensolaris.org
