Yes, I did. I never tried ext2 because, at the time at least, AFAIR, Solaris fdisk didn't include ext2 as an option, and FAT seemed like the easiest way out. FWIW the Fedora live CD couldn't boot ext3 either! My understanding is that there is a major grub rewrite on the way, so perhaps all the important OSs will be able to understand all the useful file systems out there, at least at boot time. I wonder if anyone in the know has any idea when this might happen... Cheers -- Frank
