I suppose this will quickly be a moot point as SX:CE is being dumped soon. However, I have two problems with SO9 as shipped with b120 and b121.
1. It breaks OO 3.1. OO Calc will not run with SO installed: % /opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice ld.so.1: soffice.bin: fatal: libuno_sal.so.3: version `UDK_3.9' not found (required by file /opt/openoffice.org3/program/../basis-link/program/libscsi.so) ld.so.1: soffice.bin: fatal: libuno_sal.so.3: open failed: No such file or directory ld.so.1: soffice.bin: fatal: relocation error: file /opt/openoffice.org3/program/../basis-link/program/libscsi.so: symbol rtl_uString_new_WithLength: referenced symbol not found 25697 Killed 2. SO9 provided doesn't appear to be the latest patch and there is no way to upgrade it without an active account with Sun? This is a huge problem because this version of SO is the older OO version (3.0.1?) that corrupts certain MSWord files with fields (such as NIH forms for grants), so it is not usable for all documents. I will try to reinstall OO 3.1 and see if it fixes the problem, but if SO9 cannot be run with OO on the same computer, then SX:CE should ensure that the latest SO9 is shipped. thanks, Aric -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
