Could you run the following DTrace onliner for snv_124 and snv_111 for
the same duration,
dtrace -n 'syscall:::entry /execname == "gnome-system-mon"/ {
@data[probefunc] = count() } END { trunc(@data,10)}'
Press Ctrl C to terminate the dtrace command.
This is just to understand where gnome-system-monitor is spending its
time in snv_124 in comparison with snv_111.
