This is one of the python 2.6 syntax failed with 2.4 interpretor. Works are happening to move over to python 2.6 in the desktop modules though there is no confirmation as to when the default python version will be moved over to 2.6 yet. That will be more than just a flag day exercise as far as I understand, but that will be really GREAT!
