I recommend that you bring this question to desktop-discuss at opensolaris.org. There's nothing that can be done within SRSS but perhaps there are some Gnome or Firefox tunings that you can apply, and people on that list are in the best position to provide guidance. The Desktop group is working to get some SRSS-preferential tunings that can be applied by SRSS in the future. -Bob
