I just did a fresh install of Opensolaris and upgraded to
snv_125 on an x86 workstation. Once again, I noticed
that the [Back Space] and [Del] keys on my keyboard
generated an escape sequence and ^H respectively.
Why is this the default? I need [Back Space] to generate
^H so that emacs works properly. I need [Del] to generate
an ASCII DEL character because that's my interrupt character.
Surely, having them generate standard ASCII characters
should be the default.
