Last I had looked at VDPAU it only did simple scaling. I see there are
now these modes:

VDP_VIDEO_MIXER_FEATURE_HIGH_QUALITY_SCALING_L0
through
VDP_VIDEO_MIXER_FEATURE_HIGH_QUALITY_SCALING_L9

Would you know what they are? I'm wondering if the default (L0) is
bicubic interpolation or Lanczos resampling. Either are adequate,
IMHO.

Looking at the info however it appears that this (L1 and above) is
only supported on a handful of cards, like GT220.

Are you saying that the CUDA SDK will be available for Solaris? Great
news if it is! I could definitely use it.
