Many of them are cross platform already (if they only use XUL and JavaScript, and platform independent XPCOM components). Those which use OS dependent binary components need to include them for every intended platform. So if source code is available, it can be possible to add OpenSolaris support (to make OS dependent binaries for OpenSolaris too), but not all addons are open source. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
