[desktop-discuss] Pidgin -- SameTime support

I have been reading a thread that discusses compiling Pidgin from source 
with meanwhile support

What would be the suggested path to get this in the "next version" of 
Pidgin ?
Current Pidgin version is 2.5.5

if there are not any plans to include meanwhile support (due to the small 
number of
requests) then I will try compliing on my own..
