When the discussion was taking place, NVU - http://www.nvu.com/
seemed a viable product and a viable target for a WYSIWYG HTML editor on 
Solaris.  Currently, IMHO, this project is dead.

 From a non-related thread, NetBeans as an WYSIWYG HTML editor seemed 
like a great idea also.
